Role Summary

The Instructional Coordinator supports teachers in delivering high-quality lessons aligned with the Cambridge curriculum, ensures consistency in teaching standards, and contributes to student academic success through coaching, monitoring, and academic coordination.


Core Responsibilities
  • Support teachers in planning lessons and implementing effective teaching strategies in line with the Cambridge curriculum
  • Ensure consistency and quality of teaching practices across all classes
  • Conduct classroom observations and provide constructive feedback to teachers
  • Monitor student progress and support the implementation of improvement strategies
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and professional guidance to teachers
  • Support the onboarding and development of new teachers
  • Organize and facilitate professional development and training sessions
  • Review assessments, reports, and student work to ensure quality and accuracy
  • Ensure academic standards, policies, and deadlines are consistently met
  • Support students requiring additional academic assistance or intervention
  • Assist in developing and implementing student support or remedial plans
  • Liaise with school leadership on academic matters and updates
  • Support effective communication between teachers and school management
  • Assist in preparing academic reports, data, and documentation
  • Contribute to school improvement initiatives and academic programs
  • Assist in the planning, coordination, and implementation of school events and academic-related activities


Qualification & Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Curriculum Development or related field (Master’s preferred)
  • Minimum 3–5 years of teaching experience (international school experience preferred)
  • Strong understanding of Cambridge or international curriculum frameworks
  • Strong Instructional Design Knowledge
  • Strong knowledge of Learning and Teaching Management Systems
  • Proven ability in teacher support, coaching, and classroom observation
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • High level of professionalism and commitment to student-centered learning
