Role Summary
The Director of
Academic Affairs leads the planning, implementation, and continuous improvement
of the school’s academic programs. The role ensures alignment with Cambridge
Assessment International Education (CAIE) standards and compliance with
Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport (MoEYS) requirements, while promoting
student-centered education, modern pedagogy, and holistic child development
across all levels.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead and implement the school’s academic strategy and curriculum roadmap across all programs (Kindergarten, Primary, Secondary, CNC Program)
- Provide overall leadership and direction for all academic divisions
- Ensure alignment with CAIE curriculum standards, assessment frameworks, and international best practices
- Ensure compliance with MoEYS regulations, policies, and reporting requirements
- Lead curriculum review, enhancement, and academic innovation initiativesPromote student-centered learning approaches and holistic child development
- Lead the implementation of modern teaching methodologies and instructional practicesDirect teacher performance management, professional development, capacity building, and academic quality assurance
- Integrate digital tools and technology into teaching, learning, and assessment
- Strengthen student learning experience through academic enrichment and program development
- Monitor student academic performance, exam results, and continuous improvement plans
- Ensure effective academic planning, scheduling, and resource allocation
- Establish policies related to curriculum delivery, assessment, and academic integrity
- Collaborate with Student Affairs and Digital Innovation teams to enhance learning experience
- Engage with parents and stakeholders on academic matters and student progress
- Prepare
academic reports, development plans, and performance analysis
Qualification & Requirements
- Master’s degree in Education or related field
- Minimum 8–10 years experience in academic leadership or school management
- Strong familiarity with Cambridge curriculum and international education systems
- Deep understanding of child development and student-centered learning approaches
- Experience in modern teaching pedagogy and curriculum development
- Knowledge of digital learning tools and education technology integration
- Demonstrated leadership and team management skills
- Strong analytical and academic planning capabilities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
