Role Summary

We are looking for an educator who can inspire students, deliver engaging Cambridge IGCSE Physics lessons, and support learners in achieving academic excellence. 

Core Responsibilities
  • Deliver Physics lessons for IGCSE, AS, and A Level in accordance with the CAIE curriculum
  • Plan and prepare lesson plans, schemes of work, and learning materials aligned with syllabus requirements
  • Teach key Physics concepts such as mechanics, electricity, waves, thermal physics, and modern physics effectively
  • Develop students’ scientific thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills through practical and theory-based activities
  • Create a supportive and engaging classroom environment that promotes active learning
  • Conduct and supervise practical experiments safely in line with laboratory guidelines
  • Assess student performance regularly through assignments, tests, and mock examinations
  • Provide constructive feedback to support student progress and improvement
  • Prepare students thoroughly for internal and external examinations
  • Maintain accurate academic records, grading, and progress reports
  • Identify and support students who require additional academic assistance or intervention
  • Integrate technology effectively into teaching and learning activities (e.g., simulations, data logging tools)
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistency in curriculum delivery and academic standards
  • Participate in departmental meetings, school events, and professional development activities
  • Communicate with parents regarding student progress when required
Qualification & Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Science, Education, or a related field
  • Teaching qualification preferred (PGCE, B.Ed., or equivalent)
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience teaching Physics at secondary level
  • Strong knowledge of IGCSE, CAIE Physics syllabus
  • Strong understanding of experimental Physics and laboratory safety procedures
  • Strong classroom management and student engagement skills
  • Ability to explain complex scientific concepts in a clear and structured manner
  • Commitment to student achievement and academic excellence
  • Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills
